much is a surf lesson?
$75.00 per person, per session for 90 minutes
Where are
the lessons held?
Usually at the beachfront carpark - Woodroffe Avenue, Main Beach.
The students meet Brad at his white Toyota Camry Wagon. However, lessons
are held at other venues on the Gold Coast
Do you have
group lessons?
Yes, please enquire by phoning the numbers below.
What days
and times are the lessons held?
365 days a year, starting at 6.30am to 8.00am, 8.30am to 10.00am etc.
Do you hire
boards?
No, but can refer you to a professional surfboard hirer.
How long does
it take to be a competent surfer?
Usually 3-5 lessons depending on students ability and surf conditions.You
could be standing up first time.
Can you advise
on surfboard purchase?
Yes to suit your budget.
Do you offer
special discounts?
Yes, conditions apply.
When is the
best time to go surfing?
Early morning is best, because the wind is least, therefore the surf
is best.
Can I bring
my own board?
Yes, if you are intermediate or better. If you are a beginner you
will start on a soft safety board and then transfer the skills learnt
on to a hard board.
Do you teach
beyond beginner level?
Yes to competition level.
Do you teach
disabled?
Yes, every type of physical or intellectual disability.

Lessons are by appointment only.
What is stand
up paddle surfing?
Is is the ancient Hawaiian art of standing on a surf board and paddling
out to the break turning around and catching the wave.
This is all standing
on a 12'x31"x4.5" 'Laid Tufflite' longboard, with a paddle in
your hand.
